  • Responsible for business development prospecting and closing new business
  • Travel to businesses or other organizations to promote the company’s products and services
  • Serves as the primary contact for external customers and buyers and leads the sales process with other sales resources to coordinate and generate new accounts
  • Market research, contacts, qualifies, develops and presents sales strategies to acquire new business
  • Achieve L.O.B. targets by establishing, maintaining and developing relationships with potential target clients in order to meet organizational objectives of maximum profitability and sales growth
  • Maintaining contact with current customers and attracting new accounts.
  • Attend expos and conferences to promote the company's products and services


  • Post-secondary education in business studies or related discipline – Diploma or Degree preferred
  • Must have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate with all levels of management and different variety of customers
  • Ability to project the utmost professional presentation at the most senior levels during a customer visit
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and problem solving skills
  • Creative selling, project management skills and strategic planning ability an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision as well as working effectively as part of a team
  • An outgoing and engaging personality a must
  • Customer Service, Closing Skills, Client Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships-Building, Motivation for Sale
  • Must have a valid level G driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Willing to travel


  • Minimum 5 years of selling, prospecting and developing new accounts a must
  • Preference will be given to candidates with metal fabrication industry experience
  • Knowledge of different types of metals and metal Fabrication process a must
  • Extensive background in sales and a driving passion for excellence in customer service
  • Proven experience in selling, negotiation and closing skills
